I'd have to take my "toon" out more after dark if I installed one of those!

The first time I saw this system at a boat show I thought it was a good system, but the more I think about it I have concerns about the clips getting brittle with age and breaking or them breaking when pulled off not down & off.

I've got one of those to do, and I think the woodworking portion of the job is going to be more work than the sewing! I have no love for that green treated plywood that is often used,it doesn't hold up to expectations.

My computer is right next to my sewing machine so I use the pop out cup holder on the computer, Wink.

I have no problem with that, people should pay for what they get. My exception to what I just said is when auto repair shops add "sub parts" as it's called in my area at a set percentage of the bill to cover things like shop rags, carb cleaner, Brake clean, cotter pins, grease, and ect. and then itemize these things and charge for them on the bill as well. To add insult to injury you pay for a whole can of for example carb cleaner when only a squirt or two was used from the same can used on the last guys car!

A few of you may know this but my wife is disabled and suffers from extreme depression and has at times been treated in the hospital. While my wife has sought treatment as an inpatient I've visited her and at the same time observed the other patients suffering from a variety of problems. I've found that mental health issues don't respond to the straighten up and fly right attitude. Regardless of what got the person to the point in there illness they are in be it self inflicted, genetic, or even the result of aging or an accident they often aren't able to help themselves or even recognize the problem. My observations have brought me to be a lot more forgiving of those afflicted but that having been said I must admit that dealing with an individual with these issues can cause ones ability to cope to be depleted. To wrap this up I thank you that are understanding and ask that the rest try a little harder, after all who knows what ailment will afflict us in the future.

Does anyone else do what I do, when installing the cover I've made using vinyl on a seat cushion for a pontoon, restaurant, or similar I warm it in the clothes dryer to make it more pliable so it stretches into place easier.

Yes my parents would of said "hot to trot". I don't know the original origin of this joke, I can't even remember my source as it's been stored for a time on my hard drive.

He has two girlfriends

There was this guy and he had a girlfriend called Lorraine who was very pretty and he liked her a lot.

One day he went to work to find that a new girl had started. Her name was Clearly and she was absolutely gorgeous. He became quite besotted with her and after a while it became obvious that she was interested in him too.

But this guy was a loyal man and he wouldn't get involved with Clearly while he was still going out with Lorraine.

He decided that there was nothing for it but to break up with her and get it on with the new girl.

He planned several times to tell Lorraine but he couldn't bring himself to do it. One day they went for a walk along the river bank when Lorraine slipped and fell in to the river. The current carried her off and she drowned.

The guy stopped for a moment by the river and then ran off smiling and singing: "I can see Clearly now Lorraine has gone"

I wasn't sure of the proper name for the product, but it is High quality plywood ( no voids ) with a resin based coating on both sides to allow for a quality finish. Check with your lumber yard, I saw it at my local Menard's Home Center.

Speaking of Sears compare the price of an extended warranty at Sears to Sams Club or Wal-Mart, Hundreds of dollars cheaper at Sams or Walmart! I recently had a Sears repair call and they wanted $206.00 to wrap a piece of silver solder wire around the defrost heater and dangle it down the drain tube to prevent the repeated freeze ups I've experienced over the past 5 years I've owned the refrig. Shouldn't a design flaw that causes repeated problems be corrected with a recall? By the way the refrig. was already opened up for the $79 estimate/ trip charge and the work would have taken only 2 to 5 extra min. in my estimation, I said no to the repair and I'll do it myself later!
