consew 226 walking foot machine

I have a Consew 226 walking foot machine. I bought it used without manual. Lately when I thread it and start to use it ,the thread ravels apart at the needle. Does anyone have any answers as to why it does this. Could I be threading it wrong. I use good thread and have used it before without any problems. I hope someone can help me with this problem. We moved and of course the thread came out when it was moved. Thanks for any help I can get.
