Pair of chairs

This is a set of chairs that will require more than a recover. There are cracks, loose joints, loose springs, worn wood finish, and a broken leg. But I wasn't surprised, and always up for a challenge. :)







On another note, now that I found, what I believe to be, the original fabric underneath, I'm curious what decade these chairs were built. Can anyone recommend a book that covers this?

I was confused between the avocado green and the style of the chair, so that makes sense.
