My wife finds this lady comedian really funny. I'm going to get tickets in 2014. This is truly an act of selfless love on my part.  I listened, well, my wife made me listen to about 5 minutes of one of her videos. I didn't get it. But then, my wife rarely gets my sense of humor either. I wonder if my wife would ever get me tickets to Louis Black?

C'mon Gene, you KNOW that female comics aren't funny. Ellen DeGeneres actually makes me sad when she tries to be funny. And Wanda Sikes? The next funny thing she says, will be the first. Whoopi Goldberg? I actually lose consciousness when she launches into a comedy routine.

You might say "But Sofa, what about Carol Burnette or Lucille Ball?  Those women were great comedic actresses. You give them a funny script, and they will perform it in a way that makes you laugh. But put them in a comedy club, and have them do a stand-up, you'll hear crickets chirping from 3 blocks away.

Just kidding Ladies (but seriously........women aren't funny).  ;)
