ive done a little updating on my website  see anything I havnt or suggestion?
www.bayviewcanvas.com

Mike:

The site looks good. The one thing I would do is slow down the pictures and also add a few that show some color. I know you recently did a yellow interior, maybe highlight that. All the boats and their interiors were all white.

Throw some of your color work into the mix to make things POP. You do outstanding work with interiors and colors so show it off. :)

The bottom needs to be re-worded, split and then centered like this -

                                            Call to make an appointment
( Available 7 days a week for your convenience )
Mobile dockside service - serving all of Southwest Florida

The rest looks good.

Personal preferences so please use, abuse or ignore any or all.

I copied some of the text to a separate file and changed the Arial Bold to Arial and thought it looked better not bold.

A sans-serif font such as Arial on the left navigation might look better and could eliminate a font.

On the care and cleaning page, some suggestions:
- Indentation of the text on the ordered lists
- Line spacing after the ordered lists
- "View the Sunbrella ..." is not a hot-link
- Attribution such as "Adapted from Sunbrella.com" might be appropriate.

Mr. Grammar sez:

on http://www.bayviewcanvas.com/covers.html

should be "finish"  not "finnish" (the later is something to do with Finland)

last sentence should read:
All our covers have double  sewn seams reinforced in wear spots
but remove the double     ^ blank

on http://www.bayviewcanvas.com/bayviewcanvas.html
should be "curtain"  not "curtian"
extraneous comma before the "or"

on  http://www.bayviewcanvas.com/biminitops.html
Should be "can't" instead of "can,t"
Should have a comma between "stored unlike" ("stored, unlike")

on http://www.bayviewcanvas.com/Upholstery.html
Should be "recommend" not "reccomend"

I am not an expert in ad copy or web design, but I the changing size of font from one page to another sort of upset my flow of thought

I do also like bullet lists.  Start each with a capital letter and keep the list items parallel in construction, that is consistent voice (with a preference to active over passive), same noun-verb structure, about the same length, etc.

Agree that "changing size of font from one page to another" was distracting.

I hate to be a grammar picker but it's always been my impression that if there are mistakes in ad copy, web sites, or resumes, it indicates to some people a lack of attention to detail.   Not the image you want to project.

My brother in law is one of the most educated people I know -- an Ed.D. (doctorate) in music education, a fabulous musician, then went back for an MBA and ended up Dean of a business school by age 35.   He's a terrible speller and always said he relied on his secretary to fix up his writing before it got sent out.
