Does anyone know where I can purchase a new mechanism a Morris, push button to recline. The metal tag says " Notice if any metal parts EVER brake write us for free repairs " Now that's not something you see every day. So since that is ages behind us I'm hoping someone has info for me.

I went through the same search several months ago. It was one exactly this:

All I really needed was the push button and rod that it connects to. The local refinisher that I work with was able to make a new button out of brass. He even made a new slat with the rod concealed inside it. We never could find the proper hinges on the footrest, so we improvised. Sorry, I can't find the pics.
