Vtool, I hate to post this from the archives but you asked for it. We got pretty silly but Mojo found a bobbin winder he liked.

There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.

Don't be lazy, I do all of my bobbins by hand.

Whatever you do, don't do it the Aussie way........... We all know they are still back in the 18th Century and haven't caught up with North America yet. When Scotty says they wind them by hand he means it. :)

Jeez Scotty, at least I have a mule attached to a carousel to wind my bobbins.

Yes, and it does not matter how you do it downunder , it always ends up wound the opposite way to the northern hemisphere.

Mojo

Yes Scotty. Even your toilets reverse spin. :)

Errrr........I mean Loo's........:)

Mojo

Big John. That is identical to the one I have, with the exception of the Luis badge.

The thing is simply awesome. No problems with it and it will wind a pile of bobbins in no time flat.
It remains one of my better purchases to date.

I'm going to send this back to the top because I think its a good deal that many of us could use!

thanks for the input Mojo and Big john. I was looking at the same one on ebay. I wasn't sure if it was garbage, due to some ebay products. also here is a tool i would recommend for auto trimmers. NWS  138-69-200 Fantastico Plus Heavy Duty Lever Side Cutter 200 mm. these cutters will cut thru any hog ring with little effort.bought a pair recently. also comes with comfort grips. Vtool  also here is a video for the sharp sewing model  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5pPi4toIsM

That's fast Vtool.

I know Mojo has addressed this but why not wind as you go.

If you can believe the Utube videos the Bengal one runs quieter than the Luis Sew from Sharp Sewing, if that matters enough to warrant spending $120 more to get the Bengal One.
