Your right bobbin it has now begun to be a big problem, the snakes and the crocs have been displaced and are roaming the streets. The power of the water is awesome to watch isn't it, Just a shame it is being so destructive with so much damage and loss of life. But I hope the people can pick themselves up and get on with life, cause there are other poorer less fortunate country's seem to be getting hit by natural disaster that have it even harder, look at Sri Lanka there in the exact same boat with more loss.

I was surprised when I stayed in the U.S. how there was no news about other countries. We have been spoiled in Aus. as it is covered in our normal news on the commercial stations and the government stations do more serious news and there is one gov.station that just does all foreign stuff news all day , even 1hr. of  North American news. then foreign shows and movies. It's jokingly called the free porn channel.
Yeah thank heaven for the internet, though sometimes I think of it as the back door to the toilet.

We ssinf cer news from other states e en rich unless it's big news. When I evacuated in 2004 with my dad who was in a wheelchair  to the east coats of Florida I didn't even vet any news of huricane charly in my town.
