I've been called the vinyl man, it used to affect the thoughts I had about who and what I was, but these days I say as long as I'm doing an honest day's work and they pay their bills, I don't care what name they give me.

I have to agree. My customers can call me anything they want as long as their checks are good.

Yes, and I would not be offended.  Actually, a lot of customers call their performers different names
like "rag tacker", just one we have had mentioned already, because it is just their way of enjoying
the performance, even upholstery.
