  Im watching that video really good suff
  so he made up the dot
  so much info

Frist off i want to thank this site for helping me in the pass
it looks like im about to take the big leap in to the boat top world
I have been searching pattern making for a long time now.
Im going to be using the dot for pattern making

One thing im not to clear on is how to handle the intersection
how do you handle the  tops pattern at the corner
at the window

Do you cut and tape so it lays flat around the window edge
And how do you pattern the side window and top at the same time
using the 6 mil plastic
I will be doing this 88 Rinker 25'

  Wow  didnt no i was going to start a fire storm  :)
my top is 6 years old and is in good shape
it just needed some seam and ziper repair
and i replace all the glass sides and back drape

 the top is a little faded  im thinking 2 years ill be replacing it
 ive been teaching myself how to pattern tops
 im on page 9 in the search area under pattern i think 2011

i been resewing some seam and replace the glass on my top
and i saw this on the bayliner form

[I would try this before you do anything]

I have the 563 and sometimes i cant get it to pickup
the bobbn  thread
What i do is tie both threads together
and then pull the bobbn thread up and cut it off
hay it works for me and sews just find

[Therapy]

         Therapy is still hear have not posted much
         lol still working on the cabin cousins

         Vbrith are done one more dinette to go
         between work and boating its been going slow

         now that fall is hear well im pulling the boat out
         in 2 weeks winterize engs and shrink rap.
         Then ill get more sewing time in

 it is over windshield cover Sunbrella mat.
 and it was  bunching up or gathering on me a little in between the snaps
 Im thinking $300 no snap replacement
 ill take some pic and report back.

 ok what should i charge its my 1st one
  its off of a 03 27ft. sea ray
  remove all the old vinyl binding
  install new 3/4" Sunbrella binding 45' long
  re stitching all the seams
  washing the cover
I just love the new binding folder but the snaps hang on it
sometimes and the presser foot would hit or run over the snaps
so i had to hand wheel over them
