OK, I'll jump in here. The warranty runs out at fifty but I know guys in there thirties that have serious issues. Some back injuries don't manifest themselves until the next morning like a sprained ankle. At 55, I was carrying a youngen around on my shoulders and tripped. I caught myself but that was probably it. The next morning I got up leaned over to get my shoes and a nerve pinched in lower back. Felt like a raw 220v cord stuck me. I dropped like a rock. Took all of two weeks in bed before I could walk and drive a little. I could not even climb from the floor into the bed. Never really got back to 100% but I am active and a multi mile walker every day for years and years.

A man has got to know his limititations and those change as you get older. We just don't don't build and retain muscle mass like the kids. Naproxin is the route here. Two pills is the perscription dose. I am not big on any pills but it seems to help when I am in trouble.

Best to you You don't want to go through it again. That muscle pain will diminish over four or five days and you will be back to fun agian.

General Discussion / Re: Making a Pattern

Starboard is also an HPDE. Cutting boards are HPDE. The Ultra or UHDPE is denser and costs a lot more. I bought a sheet aof HDPE at a plastics supplier for some seat bottoms that get wet all the time. 1/2" $140. Holds a staple really tight. Probably work great for patterns if you got thin stuff or end lots. Real slippery stuff, though.

Had the same bleed and thought it was my pink offshore sew foam.  I live in the midwest. I have never heard of mold being pink. Took the seat apart and that one had green sew foam. Mold it was. Also, learned my lesson about magic markers a long time ago. Even a dot can turn into a dime sized bleed.

I have some standard pontoon boat seats with 5" round (180 degree) ends. How is this foam cut? I thought about rough cutting the foam and then gluing up a thinner layer rolled over it.

Love the work cart in your gallery. I'll have to make me one.

Mousetrap.   OK, I go along with the fob idea or an end cap on some kind of storage tube or drain pipe.
