On the top i just did i used Seamark(customers request) and #2 self piercing grommets. Customer was very pleased.

saw those on the boat next to my customers. They looked equally as well on the top. Would be another choice of mine to use.

What size is your #1 spur grommets, I am looking at 5/16" , 3/8" for #2 & 7/16 for #3.
