Binding Spool Holder--What do you use?

I drilled a hole in my table in the operator side on the right.
and inserted a 10mm threaded rod vertically. Secured with nuts top and bottom
and a large washer about an inch up from the bottom to allow the binding reel to turn.

it just sits there upright like the bobbin holder and I have a tennis ball with a hole in it
on top so i don't take my eye out on the top of the rod.

Cost me about $1 to make and it works fine with a 90 deg binding attachment.
