Looking for reliable suppliers

I am just getting started in the upholstery business and need to find suppliers that are affordable and reliable.  I have placed a few orders and have been less than pleased with the service.  The first shorted my order but charged me the full amount (they did send the other yardage after I called).  The second took my order over the phone,  said it would be shipped the following day.  It was shipped 2 days later and one item was missing (at least I wasn't charged for it).  I ordered from the third one first thing Tuesday morning.   Thursday after 4:30 they sent me an email saying one item was out of stock.  It took them all day Tuesday, Wed and Thursday before they let me know this.  I was expecting my order to arrive Friday.  Instead I called and told them to cancel  it.

I have been reading the posts here for a while now and I'm sure someone here can help me out.  Like I said I am just starting out, so I need to know the best places to get foam, fabric, supplies and tools.

I am in Arkansas.

Scott Fabrics is in Memphis and have  always been  great to deal with.  Farber Sales in Nashville, TN.  Both are to the trade only, so you'll need to  have a tax number.

Have you tried A&A fabrics in Glenwood?
ALL suppliers have their share of mistakes and backorders.
I don't remember A&A making very many in the 20+ years that I've dealt with them. Their supply prices are usually on the lower end among the dozen or so that I deal with.
They don't have the biggest selection of fabrics in the world, but what they do have is certainly in line.
Some others in the region (Dallas area) that I deal with are Foam Products of Tyler (Tx), R.U.S.H. (Temple, Tx.), Neo ( Shreveport-New orleans), and OUS (Oklahoma Uph. Supp.)
R.U.S.H. has a delivery truck that runs monthly. They may deliver into Arkansas.
If you don't mind telling me, I'm curious which ones gave you the bad service.
You can PM me if you'd rather not say publicly.
