Got one last boat ride in this year....

It rained as you can see. Good thing we had a bimini!


and the sign. On a paddle of course.

Had a lot of fun! Had the tunes bumping, but all the kids were a little awe struck. At the very end of the parade my daughter yelled out 'Merry Christmas' the only peep made the entire time. We'll do it again next year.

Peppy that's awesome. Looks like a lot of fun. The sign though, its not on a paddle, looks like its on a filthy Oar. ;)

Thanks Kody! It was a blast! Today we find out if we won anything, or if we made the local paper. Same thing I guess.

out local oaradade is Sunday night I did it one. Tear in my 32 silverfon black night following a poli es boats blue. Strobes I was about blind. But fun though.

Seems like its coming in style. Or I just pay attention to it because of the boat. But I've been seeing teal and black and white stripes everywhere.

Well, it took a lot longer than I thought but the results of the parade are in! Most unusual float AND people's choice! Came with all kinds of prizes; $50 (which all the winners donated to the food bank) a tool kit, and this-

The first trophy I've ever won! And it's a big one too! Woo hoo!

All this time I kept thinking, "Filthy or what?" Now I get it. Its' 'oar', not 'or'. Nor is it 'ore'.

One of my early childhood memories was a family vacation to Georgian Bay. I don't have any idea where, but I do remember staying in cabins with kerosene lanterns and the guy who lived there was spraying Raid all over himself like it was bug repellant.

Oooooo! That'd be AWESOME! Unfortunatly, I have to give it back next year. Unless I win it again. And don't worry, I got plans. I've also been thinking about what part of the trophy to upholster. And in what. Maybe flashy vinyl? I've still got a few dingle balls...
