Business is getting quiet - I had a French Desk with broken legs and broken veneers and a piano stool refinish.  Photobucket isn't working - I'm trying IMGBB let me know if this works for viewing photos

I've got 4 more dining room chairs to upholster.  Won't quite get them finished before Christmas as I'm going to enjoy a 4 day weekend.  Will finish between Christmas and New Years.  Otherwise plan to spend a lot of time on my quilting machine.
Fuck this place.

Sometimes I wish - The number of upholsters is shrinking in my part of the world.  Yes, and during the
holidays, it is a winding up situation this this holiday.

Just finished doing 50 jobs for one company and here it is - holiday -  another I finished several truck
seats (industrial use type and can they get used!) and this week learned there are approximately
20 more coming. On these type of jobs the issues are far more than the upholstery - they use this
equipment!  The jobs require building the foam cores - they get used down the ugly metal!

One day it is this and the next minute it is back to working to a delicate beautiful antique.  Diversification!

It pays the bills - plus always something new to learn.

Enjoy it all - it is what it is!

Winding down. Delivered two chairs today and that will round out the year. Tomorrow we are heading to St Augustine to celebrate Christmas, do a little fishing and decompress. Plenty of work lined up for next year.

Wishing everyone a joyous Christmas and a Happy New year. Cheers Y'all.
There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.

I hired an amazing operations manager. Young, former military, gung ho and when I realized I was the boss I shoved my work on to her and left for the holidays.

To be honest I truly believe God placed her in our hands at the right time. I am burnt out, worn out, tired and need an attitude adjustment and Christmas is a great time to get my mind right again soi I am ready for 2019. It has been an explosive and stressful year.

So for the next few days I plan on doing nothing. Merry Christmas to all of you.
