I haven't seen this technique before.

When we run welt cord around the bottom of a chair it can get touchy around the top of the legs, espeically if there is no groove for the lip of the welt cord to fit into.

There are several techniques that I use to handle this issue. Here's a new one for me. Old welt cord was stapled along the top of the legs. The face fabric was brought down over this welt cord and stapled under it. Then trimmed as close as possible.

The new welt cord had the lip cut off as much as possible, and then run under the lump (old welt cord that had been stapled first), on top of the face fabric. It looked great. I didn't notice it until I tool off the old fabric.

I hope these pics show the technique well.

We use some cardboard taking strip to build it up like that. 2 or 3 thicknesses does the trick.

is there a way to make the pictures larger?

Right click on the photo, then  "View Image"

If the image is still not large enough, CTRL +  to enlarge it (can repeat)

At least this works in Firefox browser.

Photobucket gives me two links to copy.

One is the blue link listed. When you click on this it takes you to the photobucket web site and the full sized picture. I don't know why this would not work for everyone.

The second link puts a thumbnail pic on this page.

On my PB page, I have 6 share links The last one being IMG thumb.

Here is the IMG thumb link pasted here:

Did you use a picture of a Juki LU-563 because you know it has a bigger bobbin than my Juki LU-562?

I only find two links on photbucket. One an HTML thumb and the other an image.

Here's the image:

My thumb does not open like yours' does.

Here's the HTML thumb in it's fullness:  <a href="http://photobucket.com/"; target="_blank"><img src="http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz228/genejoe/th_DSCF3218_zpse9803769.jpg"; border="0" alt=" photo DSCF3218_zpse9803769.jpg" style=""></a>

PS: I did a 'copy image location' off the photo in photobucket. Here it is: http://i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz228/genejoe/DSCF3218_zpse9803769.jpg

Yep, they worked but now there is no thumb pic.

BTW I do my welt like Paul, build it up with cardboard and then I hot glue it on. It seems building it up with welt would be too thick and you would lose the cord underneath. Guess i won't know till I try.
There cannot be a crisis next week. My schedule is already full.
