automatic hog ring dispenser

OK. I'm finally understanding now. If I had read your very first sentence in your very first post clearly, I wouldn't have got everyone off on the "built-in" tangent.

So, do you have to load the dispenser with individual hog rings by hand?

As I said before, I don't do that much hog ringing. When I do, I stick a bunch of them on a scrap piece of cardboard


Then I staple the cardboard to a scrap piece of wood, so it won't flop around.

Sure looks like if you could find the right piece to use as a track, you could rig one up. You wouldn't necessarily need a spring loaded feeder. You could slope it, and let gravity feed them.

You can buy hog rings that are stuck together like staples, and load them in.....you don't have to load them individually by hand.....your cardboard idea isn't bad, at least you keep one hand free.....and it does seem like you could rig something to be able to load by hand....thanks dc
