hii  am just starting out i have only reupholstered one wing chair and made covers for patio chairs my question is how to make folds or pleats on the front of a round chair arm tried many ways and still can't get it to look right thank you

What sort of arm front did it have before you striped it out? The construction of the arm plays a part in determining the finished shape.
