Any one know about a  YAMATA UPHOLSTERY MACHINE FY5318 WALKING FOOTw/SERVO ,friend of mine found it and I knew nothing about   they are asking 675.00.

Did your friend find it at a local dealer? If so, that's a pretty good price. If it's from an online dealer, nothing special about that price. Some have it for under $600 with free shipping.

Maybe I'm wrong. But looking at pictures of one, it doesn't appear to be a compound feed.
Some of the E-bay dealers reccommend it for everything from dresses to car seats. I highly doubt that.

My other friend found a Pfaff  545 H4  for $775.00

I have the walking foot and the straight stitch sewing and both of them are well worth it. I've had them both going on 6 years and I haven't had one problem out of them.
