marine vinyl flooring

  got a couple Sheriffs river boats comming in for new canvas and flooring.. the flooring is marine ply with a thin sheet of vinyl glued to it.. the builder is out of production..
has anyone found a sorce??

Description of the flooring might help. Is it the white with faux black caulking lines?

I will have to look through some books tomorrow but I know it's available.

Nautolex makes marine flooring, but I swear by SeaDek.  It's a peel-and-stick non-skid that will hold like a son-of-a-gun.  Wonderful stuff!  It stays cool in the light colors (have never tried any dark).  I've had it on two personal boats and will not even consider something else.  Prep, of course, is necessary.  Remove any old adhesive and clean with denatured alcohol or something that leaves no residue.  If it gets a few bubbles after, just leave them - they'll go away.

Peppy, isn't that stuff hard on your feet?  The Nautolex flooring I"ve seen is kinda like chatahoochee - nubby and certainly non-skid, but after 1/2 hour on bare feet, you feel like your feet are ground meat.  The SeaDek is easy on bare feet all day and kinda rubbery feeling.

True June, it is hard on the tootsies. But I think I've mentioned before, up here in Canukistan most boating gets done in boots. Or at the very least flip flops.

Anyway fishermen seem to like it. I completely redid a carpeted boat in this 'no-squid' last year and am in the midst of another one right now.

  I didnt get a chance to inspect the boat really good, did a few measurements and they mentioned new flooring..
  As I looked up over the side(it was on a trailer)  I saw the vinyl peeling up where it was worn throu.. It was grey in color with a black design of some what..  being they are never barefoot, I'm not worried about the roughness..
  I'll order a couple samples and send it up to the sheriffs dept for approval..

Had a boat with nautilax once I bought it used and kept it for 12 years the whole time the flooring was fine I did barfoot int it but it was a sit down and drive boat so it wansnt like I was standfing at the wheel my new boat I'm looking cot a helm mat for foot fatigue and se dek may be the tickit I had it as step. Lads on a gunnel in my old silverton great stuff too but for a deck you really need a decent deck to start out with I don't think seadek actually fully covers the deck espicially if it's matine ply

That stuff is really nice. Can you do it yourself? I saw some at the boat show, but I haven't seen it on many boats around me.

 you can install it yourself. It's lrety big down here espicial on flats fishing boat.  Probly cause of the bArefoot traction  specially when wet
