Threadiing needle trick

Used to be 15 years ago I had a old friend a about  70 at the time who was amazed how I could Theadore the needle in one shot bam. Well time has caught up with my  eyediane it been  real pain finding the hole  
Ok ok. Minds  outa the gutter.
Well. Was thinking today while having a winding party with some tenara  to stick somthing white behind my needle to show  needle not the  black needle bar and black thread. It healpwd allot almost bam again.
