I have a Singer 212U141A double needle machine I usually only use one needle (June have you used yours yet?)

I was wondering what difference between it and the 111W as far as suitability for the canvas industry goes

The only complaint I have about mine is the stitch length is a bit short

Mine runs like a champ, Allan.  Love it.  It's a bit lightweight for some canvas work though.  I haven't tried it for super thick sewing (like 6 layers of Sunbrella), but on vinyl cushions it's a dream.  I think for a lot of canvas work it would be fine.  As for the 111W, it'll hold up to anything - fingers included.   >:(

Thanks June
There is nothing that I have not been able to sew yet
Have had to help it occasionally however if I has a run up it would do the job no problems
Ihavea big motor on mine too
