There ya go 65. Heat is your friend with Vinyl. Just don't over do it with the heat or the pulling.

Thanks Paul, have a great weekend!

As a comment, a steamer is quite useful in my business.  Especially for furniture.

Use of the heat gun is more for auto and marine.

One little tip with heat guns---always use them on an angle. This spreads the heat over a larger area and prevents burning the gun out. The other guy I apprenticed with insisted on holding the heat gun straight on and went through 2 guns a year. I followed my master's advice and my el cheapo heat gun is going strong 10+ years later.
Life is a short one way trip, don't blow it!Live hard, die young and leave no ill regrets!

That's solid advice Darren.

Here's a couple pics of what it looks like now, just needs legs.

Thanks Kody

I finished the chair. It annoyed me that I didn't really notice the IB side boxing has some wrinkles. Not sure what I did wrong. I used 1/4" foam and a thin layer of dacron. The foam was 1.4#, maybe I should have used some 2.4# I 'had.

Sharp looking chair - nice work -  makes me think of my parents house - things were orange and avocado colors.
I guess it isn't wrong to call it retro - too good for the fishing hole now
