Down Grading

Soooo... we went to make an estimate today. We're doing this through a designer so anything goes. The piece is a beautiful sectional custom built from a decorator in Atlanta. Sofa, loveseat and chaise lounge. The back cushions are down and feather filled. The seats are poly foam wrapped with down envelope. Nice house nice neighborhood, the customer just moved in. The house is empty but for this sectional.

Okay, so his brother lives next door and when he steps into the house his eyes start to swell up and allergies kick in. The customer is convinced it is caused by the feather cushions, and maybe it is. He wants all the feathers gone and replaced with Dacron. Loose fill in the backs and Dacron wrapped on the seats.

Oh, and two side chairs with the same type cushions and two ottomans with loose cushions. Everything looks like its less than a year old. Rose is working up an estimate. The guy looks like he can afford it but I hope we're not just wasting our time.
