A Problem - Experience Anyone?

The problem is centered on the newer contemporary furniture made of glass tops and chrome legs.  Where the leg attaches to the glass tops, that union is glue (looks like).

Before assuming too much, am wondering if this requires an epoxy glue?  The legs attaches to a chrome looking piece that is attached to the glass table top, that is where the separation happened - doesn't appear to be a break in the glass?  There are no holes drilled in the glass (I guess or could it be something else, like epoxy?).

This new stuff is different, it sells so may as well accept it to be around.

If t here was a label on the table, that would or might be a starter but none found.

Happy New Year,

Doyle
