Anyone ever used Electronic Services, Inc.   http://www.electronicservicesinc.net/ (North Carolina) for sewing machine repairs?   My wife has a domestic Elna that the motherboard (electronics) have failed on and wonder if she should have it fixed.

Keith, If you know it's the motherboard can't you change that yourself?

Where would one find such motherboard?

And I found this: "The technician should also be able to order a new motherboard. The replacement of the component or motherboard is best left to the technician or service personnel to carry out. It's not a DIYable task "

Doesn't sound like your comfortable doing this yourself and that is fine. Why do you question the repair place? Can they give you an estimate for the cost of repairs?
