Late 90's Astro Van

Does anyone know how to remove the black knob the reclines the seat backs on these vans?  Does it have to be pried off?

I've done those before. Yes, they're pressed on. I can't remember if it's a splined shaft or a "D" shaft. If I remember right I put a couple of small thin blocks of wood around the base of the shaft, then used door clip tool to get under the knob and pry against the wood instead of the seat. Installing them a smack with the heel of your hand seats them back on .
