Its the weekend of the 8th of Oct. That may be too late in the year i kinda get the impression your heading that way soon, its a shame as i'd love to hook up for a beverage or three, I'm probably going to owe you a couple as i've got to make a winter/towing cover for a mates speed boat and will most probably need a bit of advise.

Do tou guys boat in the winter over there what doese the temps get DowN to?

Oh how soon they forget ..  ;D

don't you remember me saying just after xmas Mike that i was trying to fit a cover
at about -3 C because it had warmed up from -14 C hehe

Winters can be a mixed bag or tricks over here, the further you go towards
Scotland the colder winters are and the south coast grow palm trees so yes it gets cold
but they escape most of the winter snow etc.

I'm in the East ( the part closest to France ) and we had about 4 to 5 months of ice
and snow this year. I do go out in the boat sometimes but generally most people take their boats out
of the water for the winter.

Some years are worse than others, this winter just gone was a pretty harsh one by all accounts
but when i was a kid I remember 20 ft high snow drifts..
