Hey guys, I'm sewing together a 30 roadster seat using Ultraleather, 5/8" scrim , a first time project. Have limited experience making door panels with an old Singer 99. Now have a singer 111W155. All that said, am wondering, after the upholstry has been sewn together and is ready to be stapled to the 1/2" plywood bottom should I use contact cement to lister the seat cover/scrim to the foam bun or is there another method? Does this have to be done? I will be adding  seat heaters and wondered if the heat would have any affect on the contact cement . Over time will the upholstry/scrim come loose from the glue in the more sat on areas and wrinkle.  Thanks in advance for your Professional help.
