Singer 47w26 ??????

Looking for a low priced (@$200-300) cylinder arm walking foot machine for a small hobby I'm getting into.  Found a Singer 47w26 (I have not actually laid eyes on it, however.  I can find information on Singer 47w66, w70.......but nothing about a W26.  The plate looks like it said 47w29, then was restamped with a 6?????   Does anybody know what this model 47 was meant to do?  Thanks.

Oh.... A darning machine (as opposed to a daring machine).
