We have an old sofa with a curved front edge(and inside back)It's a cotton print with a fairly large repeat.Should the pattern run parallel to the centre cushion or be skewed to follow the curve of the seat? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks,Mike

let the frame and the fabric tell you... I mean,
I have done them both ways, successfully.

If the back was tufted or channeled that would make a difference since there is less reason to follow the Inside Back.

If the placement of the repeat works with the size/shape of the curve, then the next repeat might land nicely on the curved end...

ALSO, consider cutting new cushions.  that way you can break them and miter them where it works best for the cover; rather than having WHERE the cushions break add another dimension to your problem.
