HELP.......I can not post a profile picture

Hey Group, I have been on this forum since 2005 and I have finally decided to post a profile picture.

I went into the area that allows you to edit your profile and here is what happens.

I click on "I will upload my own picture", then I "choose a file".....that takes me to the pictures within my computer, I open a file and select a picture and hit change profile......then I get back this message: The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved. What am I doing wrong? Steve

I've never had any luck uploading a pic from within my own computer here either.

You can upload your pic to a photo storage website, such as Photobucket. Then copy the direct link thumbnail, and paste it here in the "I will upload my own photo" profile box.

I thinks the photo has to be 100x100 pixles. But i find it easier as paul to use like ptobucket ot postimg.com

I never post pictures because I TOTALLY don't "get" how to move between my computer and this site.  And the relentless advertising that piggybacks with Photobucket is more aggravation than the desire to post pictures!
