Does anyone know of a decent hand power or mechanical stapler that shoots fine wire staples? Occasionally I find myself in a situation where there is no electric or air and I need to staple stuff.

I bought one years ago that shoots the same 71 series staples as a pneumatic gun. It works so well that when I have an "on-site" job, I have to debate with myself whether to load up the air compressor, or just take my hand gun.

I bought it from J.K. Burch Co., but I don't think they still carry them.

You'd  be surprised how long a portable air tank will last.

I went one further; I had a regulator modified so I can run my air tools off a scuba tank.

OK, I found the one that I bought years ago:

I don't remember paying more than $25-$30 for it back then.
