My boss is having a hard time finding  the 12 or 13 ga. 1" long nails used to hand tie coil springs.
The 14 or 16 oz upholstery tacks would work also but his supplier doesn't carry them.
We've tried the 3 main suppliers in North Florida and none seem to have them.
I'm working up a list to present to him Monday and any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Depending upon your requirements or location, the first places I'd look are
* Grainger
* Fastenal  ( http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/detail.ex?sku=0229067 )
* MSC ( http://www1.mscdirect.com/eCommerce/NavigationServlet/Fasteners-Adhesives/Nails-Staples/Nails/_/N-77dw0?refinement=4288834121&searchandizedOk=Y )

Both have internet orders and lots of local stores.   There are 8 Fastenal stores around town here.  Even the little remote college town of 5,000 that one of my daughters lives in has one.

You may need to end up going with "roofing nails" to get the right diameter, length, and a nice head (not a brad).

I'm not seeing any 13 ga. spring up nails that are 1" long. Several places have them 7/8" long.
Burch, Albany, Neo, Rochford. All about $5-$6 lb.

Thanks all. I've got a nice list. The place I work has no computer and the boss rarely go's on line. I believe the internet is a great place to shop price for supplies.
