old box spring...should I save it?

I am an amateur, self-taught and non-professional upholsterer. I have a used box/spring from a bed that, although old, is in very good shape. The springs  look like they have potential to me. Can small springs like that be reused? I it worth it for me to take t apart an store the pieces? Any input appreciated.
