and this ruddy great balloon came flying over my head.

there is a football stadium ( soccer ) close to my yacht club
and there was a game on ..

I wouldn't fancy sewing that thing up :-)

Ahh the Goodyear Blimp I used to see it or them alot as a kid near Los angles.
They were all silver then.   What Ruddy ?
And on your flat tide pix ir looked like a seawall along the river. How far is it all the way to the sea?
How'd the boat go did ya opener up?

I'd not seen it before, was a cool machine though.

'Ruddy' is a more polite Damn or bloody etc :-)

I sort of knew someone would ask heheh

We are about 20 miles inland at the club and with a 5mph
speed limit you're looking at 4 or more hours to the sea.
it's a real pain so I was trailering the other boat to the sea
but this new one is twice the weight EEK!

The motor on the Bayliner is sooooo quiet it's great
not had a chance to open her up yet I might go out one evening when its dark
and give her a blast :-)
