Guess what arrived sooner than expected...

So straight from the box my 1st impression is jaw dropping, I'm looking at a regular type 71 BeA, same colour ect....After the stapler was plumbed in I loaded up 4mm, 6 mm, 10mm, 12mm + 16mm steel staples & went to work. After a full days works & thousands of staples later the stapler worked well...

Even sounds like a BeA, its got a good weight to it..... Only time will tell in the long run...

I'm impressed & its on my wish list already.

From my neck of the woods we'd call plaster cast a 'stookie' & your correct in your thinking a band aid/plaster cast would be used for larger wounds/broken bones over here....for the fingers plasters is what it says on the box.

Funny thing is I broke the two metacarpals in my left hand 18 months ago, it got set in a plaster cast/stookie in what they called the Edinburgh position, I said to the nurse surely it should be called the Dundee position as this was where the A&E is 😁 it got a wee giggle thou...helped with the pain at time.

Yeah the fries/chips thing is a classic......we also have what we call (flavored) crisps & you'd call them potato chips?

But yes I've had the odd day where I've needed 3 plasters on one hand & 2 on the other, usually when stripping.

You guys are gonna hate me for this..... I'm going to use the C word here.

I just recently ordered a staple gun from China... It costs £35 & the P&P(express option) costs more than the tool its self!!

Two reasons, 1st  leisure class ladies want an extra stapler at no great cost & 2nd it looks just like a BeA.

@ minuph, I looked at the links provided and all I can say is that the guns look the same/ish.....

The model we tested would take a good handful of standard sized nails in to the guns container, which would spin the nails around (making the noise) in the hope that a nail would some how fall in to the loading chamber (hence the shaking around)....it most certainly didn't go bang bang bang as we hoped for.

The main issue when i really think about it was that it didn't seem to  load up nails in a regular manner as
you'd expect, now where near as efficient as the video clip shows.

So yeah we overlooked the hardwood thing and concluded that it would be better used on softer materials..... If it only loaded up!!

Most likley this was our inexperience of such a tool & it could've been faulty/no instructions/no rep/no YouTube.

Years ago I worked on a project that needed dozens of fresh hardwood frames to be upholstered, all in leather with close-studding around seat/inside/outside back outer edges.

What I found was the nail gun wouldn't fire straight or go all the way in leaving me to finish them of by hammer also the nails wouldn't load in to the chamber very well leaving you shaking this hellish noisy thing around, compressor pressure wasn't an issue. In the end it went back in the box it came from.

Long story short..... it doesn't like hard wood, may be more suitable for softer woods/MDF/ply/chipwood applications.

Great clip, l thought about doing the same thing for facebook . The customers love to see this kind o thing, it does give away wee tricks of the trade I find......but at that speed, could they keep up!!!

Great pics... i've just done my 1st spray guard today, it turned out well + the interior :) .

It could be a new string to my bow & yes nice work.
