General Discussion / Travel Trailer Cover
July 26, 2017, 05:01:57 pm
Has anyone made a travel trailer cover that is used when the trailer is in storage. Not sure if Sunbrella is the proper fabric to use because it is so heavy.

Any suggestions? Prefer a fabric that breathes like Sunbrella so there are no mold issues although we are in Southern California so not a huge issue. Will likely put some venting in too to prevent that.

Sorry to hijack but how close are the TEMPOTEST colors to Sunbrella? For example, if you laid pieces of Navy or Beige Sunbrella/TEMPOTEST next to each other, how close do they match.

I just am thinking if 2 articles were a couple feet away from each other, would you notice.

General Discussion / Patio Furniture Covers...Sunbrella?
December 19, 2016, 09:57:53 pm
What is a good fabric to use for the covers to fit over patio furniture to protect them from weather?

I saw some Sunbrella ones once and they were a lightweight version that I am not familiar with.

Was planning on using Sunbrella polyester webbing unless that stretches too much.

Which ratchet did you use?

I have seen a few boat covers online that use webbing and a ratchet instead of a rope in the hem of a boat cover. Anyone else done that and how do you create the pocket the the ratchet goes in?

I know exactly what you guys are referring to. I was about ready to take them off and thought I better post on here first.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply.

StraightTalk. $45/month unlimited voice and text 2.5GB data. If your iPhone is on ATT and you are done with your contract, you can use it.

I go on ebay and buy new NiCd batteries to rebuild my own DeWalt battery packs. I am not convinced yet about the Lithium tools. Too many bad reviews on Amazon.

For example, the batteries to rebuild my 7.2V Dewalt screwdriver cost $12. Probably higher capacity than what it came with too.

I have never used Tenara or Solarfix. If I switched over from polyester V92, is it the Solarfix 2000 that I need to get? What size needle?

Does trivantage carry it?
