Chris/ Mojo; I have lifted my EZ-G0 golf cart 5 1/2" and put  12" X 23" X 10" tires  on it, easy to do and really gets you noticed! Total cost about $900 to $1,000.

Well in my case life has gotten in my way, after Cancer surgery, a head on car accident, and gallbladder surgery i'm just not up to as much lately. Maybe it's time I dust off the old machine and get sewing.

General Discussion / Very Important

I just thought I'd get on my soap box for a moment; about 12 weeks ago I had a colonoscopy and they discovered CANCER, then 8 weeks ago I had surgery and two surgeons in a 2 1/2 hour operation removed the portion of my colon that was affected, luckily it was discovered early enough and I'm free of cancer and no need for chemo or radiation  Please if you or a loved one are told to get a colonoscopy screening by all means don't blow it off as many people do because they feel it's uncomfortable or embarrassing! The prep isn't nearly as bad as some make it out to be and with the use of "Twilight Sleep" anesthesia you sleep right thru it waking minutes later. BigJohn/ John Panosh

Hi Chris;
     Living here in the  Arizona desert west of Phoenix several of my neighbors gave me hell for buying one of those terracotta garden hose holders that resembles a bunt pan, it seams snakes like to coil up  inside the terracotta along with the hose and can get you when you reach in to get the hose.          John

I've seen in the past both Chipboard tables and for a higher price Plywood tables, one would think that the laminated plywood table would be stronger and stay straighter!

General Discussion / Re: INR Test Meter
March 05, 2015, 09:11:10 am
Chris/Mojo;
    I've been told most Allere meters have been recalled at order of the FDA for a problem that I can't recall, I'm not sure that they still sell them but at any rate check it out as I'm speaking from a He said-She said situation.

Here are a few links to info on the problem;

General Discussion / INR Test Meter
March 04, 2015, 08:32:37 pm
I'm sorry this is off topic but I fell it will be of help to any of you taking blood thinners and needing to test your INR (how thick or thin your blood is.

Anyone interested in purchasing a Roche Coagucheck INR test meter I'd be happy to share information about my positive experience purchasing a brand new meter on Ebay. My insurance wouldn't pay for a meter and I'm out of network while I'm doing the snowbird thing in the winter so I now do my own testing and the anti-coagulation service and my doctor at the clinic I use back in Wisconsin monitor my results and make any adjustments to my meds that are needed. I paid $720 for the meter and all the supplies needed for the first year of testing, after that it should cost me about $250 a year for supplies. Posted by; John Panosh

General Discussion / Re: How To Collect Overdue Bills

When one charges off a bad debt I know several individuals who sent out 1099 forms since they provided something of value and the customer didn't pay so they in affect got income that they should have to pay tax on. Now I'm not sure this is the correct way of doing things but it got action.

I think it would be a good time to give Bob Kovar a call and order a Servo motor and swap it out!

Chris;
     Have a safe and enjoyable trip, I would farm out the estimates and do the glad-handing at the shows more enjoyable but equally hard work but in a different way.

Mike;
     I should have guessed the ears are a giveaway! You guys have been talking temps, here in the Desert Southwest Buckeye (far West Phoenix suburb) we have had highs already of 99-100, but it's dry heat he-he-he.

Mike what type of dog is that, those pups look a lot like my Poodle/ Maltese mix pup "Jake"  that I got last November, I received a DNA test kit as a gift Easter Sunday from a relative and we are soon going to know for sure exactly what type of dog I have.

General Discussion / Sewing Machine Service Phoenix
April 04, 2014, 09:22:21 am
Some time ago someone mentioned a Sewing machine service business/ person in the Phoenix area, I promptly stored it on my old laptop that crashed. Can anyone recall that person or any other suggestions?

Bob Kovar has always under promised and over delivered in his dealings with me. I can't believe that he would have purposely not shipped your order, there must be some unavoidable circumstances that contributed to the problem.
