Hi ya.....I know this note finds all in good spirits and health!!!

Have a new baby for the shop...his name is pumpkin. He is what is known as a Macaw Parrot.....ya.... can you just imagin listening to YOURSELF all evening!!!!! I give myself a head-acke .....lol......

He so much fun and will take him to the new shop in the next few weeks. Kinda ticks me off though! Hubby has pumpkin calling me mama cujo!!!!!!! Thats not funny ya know! Mama cujo.....I never.....gosh.....dadgumit any'oways!!!!!!

Im tryingto get him to say o'l fart when hubby comes in...that will teach him....lol...I HOPE!!!!!

OK....maybe I wont be able to take him to the shop after all...hehe....everyone that comes in he calls an ol' fart....um......how would I ever explain....hummmmmm
Well poop a noodle.....how can I get even with hubby????

Ummmm...not to sound like a dork ball here...but....I have a vinyl die and a fabric die. They are very different indead.
The vinyl die is flatter topped than the fabric die letting the vinyl strech as needed with out cutting. OooOOO and like they said in upper post..lub is always great!

Hmmmmm.....Jeff!

Did you put a deck on with like fabric or with a so called decking fabric? That could be the answer....to use decking instead of fabric for decking! To allow for the movement and stay put...... instead of crawling....dun know...I have to think abut that one.....Hurry up someone let us know please!!!!
I use like fabric....but a nap would require me to use decking and fabric stripes for cushion meet. How about you all!!

Hi ya Doyle,

You know......if your talking leather easy fix for older seats.....lay your razor flat as you can get it on the table and with a even stroke down the top fell seam you slice like  a hot knife through butter.

Then through your center main seam and there you have it. I then will cut off the first center seam leather and use fell seam for new center seam and i get to sew a whole new fell seam!

Most older leather seats because it streches with time can take the adjustment with nobody the wiser. Good clean look. Fabric bites a big one no matter how you do it :D Vinyl is well...like leather in about the same way but you better be dang good at slicing and dicing the stuff....hehe

OOOoOOoo I too use an itty bitty(a)ngle but I use what is like a scotch bright pad as not to take down the leather too quickly.

I always place my leather on a board covered with soft fabric so I dont mar the face of the leather while working on it.....not pretty when the sander gets a bite ;D

I stretch my (leather) ((((((left that word right on outa there)))))) over cut(e) leather really tight and staple the edges so the staples are about an 1/8th " off the leather for easy removability.
Grasp sander in both hands and smooth eve(r) (n) passes over the the leather till I get what I want. If I use a sanding disk I (det) (get)  burns no matter how hard I try :D....so slower take off is what I have to dooOOooooooo.......gosh...Im sure I left some things out but there is most of it...lol.....OOooOOoo yaAAAaaa screw the board down first!

Um...just wondering with all the changes here....erm  do I post skanding leather here or how to section?  Ya I said skanding....lol...let me know and I will post. OOOoooOOOOoo ya ennnnnnnnnergizer bunny....and you have to say every n seperatley to get the full effect hehe...thats how I am and feel 99.9 percent of the time...and I think I some what look like this most of that time (((((((( :o  ))))))))))) :P

Leather still flying this way June..hehe....I have found another way to thin leather when there is no time to have it sent out to have it skived.....funny but works like a charm.

Hi long lost dear o'l friends!!!!

Been forever and a day but....like....wooOOOooOWwwwWWww what changes we have made in and around the board!

Newbies...oldies....and um....mebeeEEeee...hehe

I wish I were a butterfly...sprout little wings and fly around the country to say hi to all you wonderful craftsmen! Just love the time and knowledge you put forth here. Still have a love for the craft indeed! Gosh.....Doesnt get much better than this. All is well this way and I cant imagine getting any better. Ya those of you that know me know I always end up ozzZZzzzing with excitement ;D....I better get back to reading....lots and lots and way more lots to read!!!!
