"We could even consider adding "keeping you in stitches" where everyone could share some jocularity at any time during the week."

I'm sorry but I don't know how to do a proper quote but the above was taken from Darren's post, and I think this is an excellent idea.

JoJo:
I've installed it using my zipper foot on several occasions as I'm prone to forgetfulness. I use scrap vinyl for the stretcher.

#20 needle with 92 polyester thread and hog ear nippers used here.I think some of the suppliers on this board sell them, the one that comes to mind is DLT, I got mine from Mills Fleet Farm.

Another thing to keep in mind is using a welt foot that has the rear portion of outside groove ground away to allow for better cornering. Maybe others can better explain what I've mention about ground away welt foot.

Below is a link to a picture of the "pinked" welt:

I'm sorry it wasn't my intent to cause such a stir but rather to let Chris know how much I appreciated the the diversion of the funnies, as health issues in my family can bring one down.

Subject line pretty much covers it. I know give them an inch and they want a mile.

I believe Mojo Bought a Chandler replica of the 206 or the Seiko from Bob Kovar of Toledo Sewing Machine Company and he sings it virtues. He found it to be a less expensive alternative to the Consew, and Bob's support is first rate. I just can't say enough about Bob and for that matter his son, they offer first-rate support and even more important than that he possesses great character. You can find Bobs contact info in the classified section of this board.

I did some like that (even in the same gray color) and I used 1/2" foam as the 1/4" that was on it from factory was bad & 1/2" is what I had, turned out great!

The housing market in our area is still real poor. It seams the only thing that's selling are the under $100,000 homes and they are cut all to heck price wise. It's not that the houses are overpriced or in poor condition, it's that you can't get people to even come and look due to the tight mortgage market and fears of further layoffs. And don't forget our Governor Walkers budget fiasco
