Hey I'm in the Houston, TX area and was wondering if any of you know of any industrial sewing machine sales and/or service shops here? 

What seam should I use to join accent color on boat cushions/upholstery?  I've got white as the main color and want to add some sort of stripes/swoosh's with navy for the accent color and navy 138 thread

Hey there on my rex 26-188 I was wondering if there was a certain way or height I should have my presser foot (walking foot) adjusted?  I took it off to check the size and when I was reassembling it I noticed the holes are elongated for adjustment.  It seems as though the needle foot presses pretty hard on the plate below and causes the machine to slightly bind so I have to give it more gas to get started

Can someone help me figure out what size welt foot I have. There's a p/n on the center part that the needle goes thru. It is 120370


The other part of the foot has 1/8 on it but I'm assuming that's just for seam allowance purposes


And I'm also looking for this metal piece that's kinda damaged and the screw that's missing. I think it's called the shuttle race?

Almost forgot its on a rex 26-188

The manual for my machine is calling for left twist thread.  Is left twist the norm?  When I order it do I have to specify left twist.  I want sunguard 92 or 138 thread for boat upholstery.  Probably use a 22 needle am I on the right track?  Oh ya machine is a rex 26-188

I've got a rex 26-188 walking foot machine made by nakajima. Does anyone have any experience with these machines?  I still don't understand if its a compound feed, needle feed or what. Is there a good source for a manual that I can actually read and understand?  I'm wanting to learn to do boat upholstery so I figured that I would get an actual walking foot full size machine instead of a portable or a home machine. What is the biggest size thread I can use in it? And are there any good places for parts for this machine?  Thanks.    Please help
