Title: Shaving sewing machine foot
Post by: 65Buick on February 10, 2020, 09:36:43 am
My last project was curved, and I was less than impressed with my welt foot.
I don't have an angle grinder at my disposal... Do I need to take a foot to a to a machinist to shave down?

Probably of you don't have the tool. Don't take any off the bottom. I gather you want to take a leg off? You can buy whats called a zipper foot that has only one leg on the back foot.

Pick up a small 6 inch grinder - it will have immeasurable uses in the shop beside grinding a foot.  Then you can customize your tooling to exactly what you want
