New to this board. Nice to meet all of you.
I have a question here about foam padding. As you can see from this photo : http://gdurl.com/Y2GV some kind of fabric was used to pinch the edge of the foam so it would be more curved. It was then stapled to the frame.
Does anyone know exactly what it is and how it was done?

Here ya go. I think this is what you are looking for - how to glue fabric strips to the edge of foam to round the corners.

Some folks will use an electric carving knife or hacksaw blade or foam cutter to cut off the edge of one side of the foam and this will give you a similar effect.

Thanks Gene. I've had a little success using strips of burlap, for the top of the arms. The inside curve is difficult and regular tight weaves like muslin just wrinkle.
