Title: Recovering boat seats
Post by: marciamoretti on May 02, 2011, 07:46:49 am
Does any know what type of fabric to use when covering the back of a boat seat?  Its what to use to cover the wood on the back of the foam pad.  Vinyl for the front but what to  use to protect the wood from getting wet but yet can breath to prevent rot!
Thanks !

I'm a furniture guy so I can't help much, but if you post this same question under General Discussion I bet you will get a lot more response.

We use a cheap black or white vinyl coated mesh. We call it truck mesh. I think a brand name might be phifertex?
