Post by: hidebound on March 18, 2011, 07:01:10 pm
I found this site while trying to figure out how to time my machine. It might be pretty basic for some of you but maybe it will help someone, I know it did me.

as you can see I dont know how to make this a "link". maybe someone can help me with this, and please excuse my computer ignorance.

The good old MilSpec Manual.

I learned how to operate and eventually rebuild those old machines while in the U.S. Navy in Lakehurst, N.J.

I still have a Singer 111W153 and it runs better with age.  I think most those were built back in the 1930's, maybe it was the '40's.

Thanks for the link to the webpage!

Jim

Here is a link which I think is essentially the same information, except much more readable. I have transcribed the document to be more a more usable local PC document. If you would like a pdf copy, would you please send me a private messsage with you email address.

BTW, the following Army Technical Manuals that include the Singer 111W155 are available new for purchase on eBay last I looked and purchased a few days ago.
