Title: turn Fasteners

does any one know what these are called in the upholstery industry?

I have seen a few better models on products but can only find these ones on sail rite that are cheezy

can't seam to find them any where else...

I have seem them as, Common sence, turnbuttons & Torniquete (spanish name).
Usually nickle plated brass.

Those black one's I used on one job, they are ok for light use, but I had to 'weld' them together with the hot knife as they tended to come apart & if the customer is a bit heavy handed they don't last long  :-X

Common sense fasteners.  Bainbridge, TriVantage, pretty nearly every supplier for the marine trade will have them.

i call them turnbuckles in the UK

If i said common sense fastener nobody would
understand what i meant.
