Title: Need Drapery help
Post by: RussW on November 21, 2010, 06:59:40 am
My wife is making new drapery for the home and asked me to inquire as to where I might find the material that's used in the top of the Drapes and Valance to make it stiffer and the weights that are used along the bottom. Anyone have any outlets?
Thanks
Russ

JoAnn Fabrics or any other fabric store.

Rowley Co. online.

Many uphosltery supply companies also sell soft window treatment supplies.

Good luck.

Buckram?  That's the stiff stuff used in pinch-pleat headers.

Or for yard goods, she can ask at JoAnn's for pellon or fusible interfacing.  The link above probably also has drapery weights.
