lost all the posts and member details.

Go back to your host and ask them to get your forum back up using their tape backups. They should be backing up their servers every night. They can do a simple restore of your forum using their backup data.

thanks Mojo , because they have been having problems they also moved the site to another server.
somehow this messed up all the SQL links and although everything moved over it was all messed up in the process.
HDflame, do you know how to restore just the database if I get that ?

WOW Rich, wish I could help buddy! I'm not really a forum guru and that sounds like it would be pretty involved. Heck, I can't even get rid of the SPAMMERS! I'll head over later and sign back up. Sorry for the problems. Do you have an option to back-up yourself for future problems?
